How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Quovio account directly from the mobile app:

  1. Open the Quovio app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab and scroll to Danger Zone.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm by entering your password.

Your account will be permanently deleted immediately upon confirmation.

What Happens When You Delete

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

  • Your login credentials and profile information
  • Your phone number, email, company name, and photo
  • License and insurance documents
  • Notification history and linked bank accounts
  • Any pending invitations associated with your email

What We Retain (and Why)

Certain records are retained in anonymized form to meet legal and business obligations:

  • Completed job history: Retained with your identity replaced by “Deleted Contractor” so property managers can maintain accurate maintenance records and audit trails.
  • Financial records: Payment and tax records (e.g., 1099 data) are retained for 7 years as required by IRS regulations and state tax law.
  • Audit logs: System activity logs referencing your account are retained in anonymized form for dispute resolution and legal compliance.

No retained records are linked to your personal identity after deletion.

Active Jobs

If you have active or in-progress jobs, you must complete or decline them before deleting your account. The app will let you know how many active jobs remain.

Can't Access the App?

If you're unable to sign in to delete your account, you can request deletion by emailing privacy@quovio.ai from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days, as required by applicable privacy laws (CCPA, WMYPA).
